Bellevue Fire Department

The department originated with 3 volunteer fire companies that were established in the mid 1800's.  The first paid firefighters were brought on board in 1918.  The department was reorganized in 1934 as the Bellevue Volunteer Fire Department.  In 2002 the department merged with the Dayton Fire Department.  A more complete department history can be found here.
